Let's Go Barefoot - Loren Cunningham

This classic and timeless teaching cuts straight to the heart and is highly recommended. Loren speaks on the importance of submission and relinquishing our “rights”. He calls us to lay down the things we cling to so that we can experience complete freedom in our relationship with God and be fully available to serve Him.

I Speak Jesus

Lyrics

I just want to speak the Name of Jesus,
Over every heart and every mind.
I know there is peace within Your presence, I speak Jesus.

I just want to speak the Name of Jesus,
‘Til every dark addiction starts to break.
Declaring there is hope and there is freedom,
I speak Jesus.

Your name is power,
Your name is healing ,
Your name is life.

Break every stronghold,
Shine through the shadows,
Burn like a fire.

I just want to speak the Name of Jesus,
Over fear and all anxiety.
To every soul held captive by depression,
I speak Jesus.

Shout Jesus from the mountains ,
And Jesus in the streets.
Jesus in the darkness over every enemy,
Jesus for my family,
I speak the holy Name
Jesus.

Your name is power,
Your name is healing ,
Your name is life.

Break every stronghold,
Shine through the shadows,
Burn like a fire.

We Need You and You Need Us

Laura Bronson of “Keep It Real Crew” reminds us that we need each other –
older and younger generations especially.

Lydia Owens was valedictorian and senior class president at her South Carolina high school, and this week her commencement speech made the news. Why? Because she wasn’t ashamed to talk about God.

She encouraged her classmates by telling them that they were made in the image of God, and she shared that Jesus Christ was the one who helped her through losing her mother. She said, “When tragedy struck my life, it was not my grades nor my accomplishments that helped me navigate through that loss. When everything else in my life felt uncertain, the only person I could depend on to stay the same was Jesus.” Lydia, that is truth that can impact lives for eternity and I’m sure many will never forget what you said.

Congratulations on your graduation—may God bless and guide your next steps!

“In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:6 NKJV)

Follow Skyanna's Exciting Journey

Karen Louise, the author of Half-Baked Bannock, has a heart to share Jesus and God’s Word with the younger generation as they navigate the many challenges they face in life. A devoted follower of Jesus, loving wife to Ralph, and mother of three adult sons, Karen is a teacher and surely always will be, as well as a prolific author.

We are privileged to share her novel, the first in a series of three, following the life of a teen-age girl named Skyanna. In Half-Baked Bannock, Skyanna tries to live in two kingdoms, one the kingdom of light and the other the kingdom of darkness. Through Skyanna’s adventures, we learn what it means to be a Christian and how God wants us to see ourselves. Join Skyanna on her quest to make good choices about important life decisions.

My sweetheart, Hilda Schnell, seen on the Home page of this website, was the copy editor for Karen’s book, Half-Baked Bannock, and did a wonderful job. I had the privilege of doing the drawings, book cover and layout for this book. Praise God for helping Karen and Ralph, Hilda and me to produce this outstanding novel, and as well as two sequels. YAY GOD!!

The first two of Karen’s books about Skyanna, Half-Baked Bannock and Joy Peeks Through, are available for purchase as paperbacks, at https://www.amazon.ca . Just search for the titles to find more information and to purchase the books. They make wonderful gifts for teen girls in particular. Karen’s third book in this series, That Uncomfortable Word, has just been written and will be available soon.

Reading and learning from God’s instruction manual is a Keystone Habit with great value to our life. This lesson in slideshow format, encourages us to use the Bible as our guide, helping us navigate through life’s many choices.

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” (Joshua 1:8 NLT).
