Jesus Offers Us “New Life” –
Jesus told him, “I am the Way—yes, and the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of me. (John 14:6 TLB)
God loves you! He loves you so much, that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sins. Jesus paid the penalty for your sins, releasing you from the prison of your own past. He paid for your sins with His life, so that you could become a child of God, and have a vibrant relationship with the Father and His Son, King Jesus.
And this is the way to have eternal life—by knowing you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth! (John 17:3 TLB)
Have you been searching for meaning to your “life?” You will find “life” in Jesus. He promises that.
Are you are looking for the “way” to know God? Would you like a relationship with the Living God, who created this world, including yourself? You will find the Heavenly Father through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Perhaps you are searching for “truth,” in a world filled with deception and lies. Jesus is the “Truth.”
Today, Jesus is offering a relationship with God, by believing in Him, “the Way, the Truth and the Life.
I have discovered throughout my life that Jesus is “the answer” as I searched for purpose in life, a relationship with the Living God, my Father, and that Jesus can always be trusted to keep the promises from His Word, the Bible.
Jesus is the answer to our needs. He can give our lives a “New Start.” Whether we have already accepted Jesus into our hearts, or never made that life-changing decision, we can have a “New Start” of walking through life, in a deep relationship with our Heavenly Father and King Jesus, through God’s Holy Spirit.
Last year my beautiful sweetheart, Hilda, joined Jesus in Heaven. A couple of weeks after Hilda passed away, on January 27th, 2023, I was laying in bed, wide awake at 4am. I was grieving for Hilda, missing her incredibly.
In a moment, Jesus transported me to Heaven. In a vision, which I will never forget, Jesus gave me a glimpse of Heaven, and of Hilda there with Him. Jesus gave me a “New Revelation” of His personal love and care for me.
I was seated in a small balcony (like a theatre balcony) from which I could see the “Throne Room” in Heaven. To the left of my balcony seat, raised high above me, I saw a huge and brilliant light surrounded by many colours, too glorious to see what was behind its brightness. I realized this was God the Father sitting on His throne. He was surrounded by many angels. Beside God’s throne was another glorious throne on which sat beautiful and majestic King Jesus. I recognized Him as God’s Son, sitting at God’s right hand.
King Jesus was majestic, glorious, emanating light, and filled with honour, joy, peace, love, and wonderfully beautiful to behold. His presence made the whole scene so amazing.
Jesus walked down a long staircase in His regal robe, wearing a spectacular crown on His head. In one hand, King Jesus carried another beautiful crown ornamented with sparkling jewels. Jesus came down to the unbelievably enormous floor of the throne room. It was a floor of clear gold. All throughout the scene I noticed colours beyond the beauty of a rainbow filling the throne room. The size of the room was beyond my ability to see it’s end. All around the centre were thousands of people in white robes, watching King Jesus come down from His throne.
The hall was filled with angels, some standing among the people, some flying above the people, others surrounding the Father, who was on His throne in splendour and glory. It seemed that the throne room was not enclosed, but was open to the outdoors, as I saw many trees, grass and signs of other wildlife in the distance.
Many of the innumerable crowds of people watching were waving palm branches. There was excitement in the air, with King Jesus coming down.
As King Jesus walked toward the centre of this glorious throne room, I noticed Hilda walking alone from the other side, through some of the crowd. She wore a white robe, and was stunningly beautiful, just as she was when I met her in her early twenties (she was always gorgeous). Hilda was beaming with joy as she walked toward Jesus. She stopped and waited as Jesus approached, carrying the sparkling crown.
Jesus came to stand in front of Hilda. She bowed her head down before King Jesus, who placed the sparkling crown upon her beautiful golden hair. Then Hilda lifted her head in great joy with an enormous smile on her beautiful face and looked into the eyes of her beloved Lord and King. King Jesus and Hilda both smiled with great pleasure and love for each other.
I was sitting in the little balcony, mesmerized, witnessing this glorious crowning celebration where Hilda was receiving her “Crown of Life,” which the Lord Jesus gives to those who love Him. The enormous crowd was filled with many of Hilda’s friends who are already in Heaven, who rejoiced loudly with cheers and praise to God and King Jesus.
Then Hilda and Jesus turned toward me, knowing that I was watching this precious reward celebration for Hilda. Hilda waved to me with a huge smile of joy on her beautiful, young face, and blew me a kiss! King Jesus saw me and nodded with a large smile for me. It was sooooo AWESOME!
At that point, I was brought back to my room, still lying in bed, more awake than ever. I could hardly believe what I had witnessed, but knew it had really happened. I was so filled with joy and peace, excitement and anticipation that Heaven with Hilda would be my future home too. I have a journal near my bed, and after lying there for several minutes, contemplating what I had just witnessed, I wrote down what I could describe and remember from that visit with King Jesus and Hilda in Heaven. I also wrote down details in my Bible.
That vision still brings me so much comfort, joy, peace of mind, and great hope and faith that I will someday join Jesus and Hilda in that glorious place. My glimpse of Heaven was so short and showed me only a fraction of the amazing joys God has for those who will be living there. I can hardly wait.
Jesus gave me this gift, to see Hilda in Heaven, so young, beautiful, healthy and filled with joy. A few days later, King Jesus also spoke to me, and gave me a special “Love Gift” from Him, a promise from Him of living with Hilda forever, when my life on Earth is over.
These gifts from King Jesus have given me “New” purpose and motivation as I live out my life for my King and His Kingdom, here on Earth.
I believe Jesus will give you whatever you need, if you ask Him. It could be a vision or dreams, or He could speak to you. Jesus offers you His presence in your daily life, through His gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives inside God’s children, and guides, helps, comforts and teaches us – like a personal mentor who never leaves us, but loves us.
If you do not have a relationship with Jesus, you can have a “New Life” with Him and the Heavenly Father. Jesus can give you joy, love and peace, that the world cannot give you. Jesus can heal your hurts, heal your mind of guilt and unwanted thoughts. He can heal your physical body and He wants to do that for you.
In a world filled with troubles, disease, disappointments and heartache, Jesus offers Himself as the one who has overcome the world. He is the one we can turn to for a “New Start.” Even if we have been “Born Again” and have believed in Jesus, we can sometimes grow indifferent to Him, as we are overwhelmed by the influence of our culture, the deception of running after fleeting fame and fortune, the mundane cycle of work, sleep and the cares of this world. These are not all evil, but if they become our focus, our lives can spin out of control.
Jesus is offering a relationship with Him and the Father. Led by the Holy Spirit, life becomes exciting, but filled with peace, love and joy, even as we go through challenges and hard circumstances, health issues and mental stress. Jesus wants to bring you through these things. He wants to heal your heart, mind and body. Let Him begin by asking Him to give you a “New Start.”
May these words be a “God Nudge” for you, dear reader. An opportunity to ask Jesus to come into your heart, to change you, and give you a “New Life” of Adventures with God.
